Me and cats

I grew up with a dog, but have always preferred cats. For a few years, I also had a snake. My snake was a Columbian red-tailed boa named Tonantzin, who was the Aztec Goddess of midwives and childbirth. She would sit in my hair, and help me do Tarot readings. My third exhubby used to say that the medulla oblongata or reptile stem was the seat of ritual behavior, which included divination, and when Tonantzin was in my hair, she was adding her brain to my reptile stem.
