I love animals! I have always had a little poodle for my companion. My husband and I just this past December, 2007, had to put our poodle down due to illness. It was soo hard to do! This site is for her; Monica's memory.

My husband and I got our labrador retriever from the neighbors a block away. They were finding homes for the pups of their dog. I picked her out. We had only been married for 4 months and we couldn't get her to stop whining and go to sleep so at 6 am we took her downstairs to my mother-in-law and asked if she would dog sit so we could sleep. lol Can you imagine us with a real kid?! lol She was so tiny when we got her she fit into a basket. She likes to have her blankey to suck on and loves her main man, my husband, and her second main man, our neighbor! She is 12 years old now and has some complications from getting old but she is still getting around and being happy. Oh ya, can't forget she loves food!

Thanks my friend. Your review on Amazon is great and I can't thank you enough. Most importantly I'm so pleased you both enjoyed the book so much and that it brought out all the emotions I'd hoped it would when I wrote it. Dylan's Tale will be the next in the series and is scheduled for release in the summer.

I can't honestly be bothered to get back in touch with those people at the other site because (a). I can't access it because of the ban...hehe and (b) I doubt they'd take any notice, they're so closed minded. I really do appreciate you taking the time to put it all into such well thought out words though. I wish everyone could see things that way.

Hello and thanks for the invitation! All of my books feature dogs (usually Weimaraners) and Chasing Secrets (has a Weim on the front) has been named finalist by the Dog Writers Association of America in their 2009 writing competition, under the category Book: Fiction.
